Close...but no cigar
Well, we had a softball game last night. It was fun. Everyone played well and it was close for most of the game....but we lost 7-5. Justin took one for the team when he slid home on the last inning trying to help us win the game...look at his battle wounds! What a great team player. So even though we didn't win, we still had a great time. I have to say that I was bugged a little bit by the team we played...I mean we are just playing for fun, trying to have a good time. And towards then end of the game they started talking trash...but it wasn't the funny kind it was the kind of trash talk you would've used in high school at a game that really mattered. So I was a little annoyed that they couldn't just let back and have a good time. But oh well, what can you do? You win some, you lose some I guess. Anyway our next game is Thursday May 3rd...wish us luck!!

What a trooper Tate! I think that's so fun you guys are playing softball, hopefully we can come see a game, where do you usually play?
We play at Lakeside Park just off Geneva Rd....it's 1600 W 400 S.
Sweet, I wish I was there for all the trash talk. Um, really, that's funny that they were so into their game that they were highschool trashing you! If I were an innocent bystander, I'd vote for the bloody knee team :)
Way to play Tate, nice battle wounds. We would love to come see you play too--I think Tanner would love it. We're coming to Utah in a couple of weeks, if you guys are playing, we'll come cheer you on!
great wounds tate! and that sucks that the other team was trash talking...i'd love to schedule you for a photo shoot, just let me know when!
