On February 4th....
...of 2008 Justin B. Tate and I are due to be welcoming a baby into this world. Yes that's right, I'm pregnant. Can you believe it? I'm still getting used it myself. Now, to answer the many questions that I'm sure everyone will have:
- Did we plan it? No. But we didn't NOT plan it either. So it wasn't on purpose but it wasn't an accident either. It just happened.
- When did we find out? About 3 weeks ago. I was late and very tired and a c
o-worker suggested that I take a test. So I went home at lunch and took one...it came out positive. I then told Justin, cried a bit (out of nervousness and every other emotion you can think of), then took another test. Then I took another test a few hours later. You can never be too sure, right?
- When are we due? February 4th, as indicated in the title of this post.
- How far along am I? 7 weeks to the day. My doctor's assistant informed me that it would be very easy track my weeks since it changes every Monday. I didn't think it would be very hard either way, but whatever.
- What do we want? Whatever we get. I'll be honest and say that I would love a girl, but I will be very happy either way.
- Are we nervous/ready for this? Yes, and probably not. But hey that's why God gives ya 9 months right?
- Am I feeling sick? Yes, very. I've taken such advice as leaving crackers by the bed to eat before getting up to taking Vitamin B6 & half a Unisom before bed. I still feel sick though. And almost all food repulses me. It's GREAT.
- Am I feeling tired? Extremely, for the past month even before I found out. I've been so tired and sick that I went into work at least 2 hours late for the past 7 days of work. Lovely huh?
So, there you have it. Feel free to ask any other questions, I just figured that I'd answer some basic ones while I had the chance. We are very excited to join the ranks of the PARENTS (albeit still nervous...!) I'm sure I'll be updating the blog frequently with weird feelings or questions I have, so stay tuned!!

Congratulations! This is such an exciting time, I am so happy for you guys. Ginger candy worked well for me to help ease the tummy troubles. Ginger people brand is good (the kind in the wrapper) and I think you can get it at places like Good Earth. Good luck, you have tons of people to ask for advice or just anything. Sleep in every chance you have!
