blessing
we blessed rowan in church yesterday. justin did a great job. i am so proud of him. we just love our baby girl!!
thanks to all of our family and friends who made it, and to all of you who helped with lunch.
rowan in her blessing gown, which i also wore when i was blessed as a baby. unfortunately, the bonnet didn't fit her...i guess that's to be expected when you've got a 98%ile head.
we spent the entire day outside, and despite my efforts to keep her in the shade, her little cheeks got a little pink. (i know, i'm horrible...i didn't have any baby sunscreen on hand)i have more pictures of the day with the family (we went up to vivian park in the afternoon) but i'm headed to new jersey for the week for my mom's bday and i don't have time to edit them. maybe next week...

What a special day. Your family picture is so cute.
in the second picture she looks so bored. its so cute. i miss her.
Congratulations on your special day. Your photos are beautiful, and Jules, you look gorgeous!
oh, she's just gorgeous! and i love her wig (that's what we call a ton of baby hair). the photos are fantastic, you look fabulous, of course!
Love her blessing dress, how sweet that she got to wear the same dress you wore. You look great!
I did the same thing to Rachel yesterday where she came home with pink cheeks. We were headed to the park so I packed her hat and sunscreen in the diaper bag. We were there for 2 hours and I thought we were in the shade. I was wrong.
You're not a horrible mom because then I would be too and many other moms and I don't want to be horrible so that means you can't be either.
