4th of July '08
our 4th of july was pretty good this year. justin had to work all day, but was able to make it home for some fireworks in the evening.
i took rowan to the parade in provo. she didn't pay much attention to it--the cannons at the end didn't even make her blink. in fact, despite all the noise that parades bring, she did this...
no bands, no screaming children...nothing even startled her. must've been really tired. or else her nana has a super comfortable shoulder..
after the parade we headed home for a big brunch. all the kids went swimming after that, while i stayed home with ro so she could nap...again. i napped too. then we had dinner {and yummy fruit pizza for dessert} and waited for justin to get home. he brought home a whole bunch of fireworks, and we set them off with brad and quinn. rowan kind of liked the sparklers, but wasn't really too interested in the fireworks. oh well, maybe next year.it was a nice day, and very relaxing. we are so glad that we live in this country where we are able enjoy the freedoms that we do.

it looks like rowan's first 4th of July was a sleepy one...I can't believe how big she is getting, it makes me sad how fast time goes by but its so exciting to see what they will do next. I am feeling great, this week was the first week I felt semi normal other than I had a bit of a cold. I go for my 12 week appt. tomorrow so I'll know more then. Other than that we are very excited and we are debating whether or not we want to find out if its a he or she. Talk to you soon, oh yeah by the way I didn't know if you knew that Andrea and Emily are both getting married next year, crazy huh!!!
