9 months

Rowan's 9 month stats:

weight: 17.5 lbs (25%)
height: 27 in. (29%)
head: 18.8 in (99%)

she's a petite little girl, with the exception of her head. but i think that means she's got a nice big brain :)

some stuff that rowan likes at 9 months:

• trying to stand/walk...mind you, she can do neither, so she grabs for our hands to help her stand up and walk.
• food. she loves tasting whatever we're eating. she loves oatmeal with mashed bananas. and she's fine with the other foods we feed her. no problems with any veggies, so we're glad.
  
• swinging, going on walks, being outside. we're not looking forward to a cold winter.
• her daddy. she's starting to associate the word "dada" with her actual daddy. i think that will be her first word.
  
• her mommy. she may or may not be a teensy bit attached to me......
• sucking/biting on anything she comes across. she has also started to let lola lick her hands before and after she sticks her hands in her mouth. sometimes there's food there too. it's so gross. i try to keep lola out of the way, but rowan loves her.
• playing. as long as we are playing with her, she is the happiest girl alive.
  

stuff rowan doesn't like:

• going to bed. i put her to bed around the same time every night, so you think she'd be used to it. but she screams for at least 5 minutes almost every night. oh well. you gotta do what you gotta do.
• being left along in a room. if i'm putting laundry on, i have to sneak out of the room so she doesn't notice i'm gone. otherwise, she starts to do the whole fake-crying bit.
• teething. who does like that though?
  
• i'm sure there are other things. but i can't think of them right now, because she's being so good and cute.

that being said, i gotta go. she's too cute not to want to hang out with :)
