Well, what do we have here?
I was a little wary at first...all I've ever heard about thumbsucking has been bad. But, then some friends told me thumbsuckers are supposedly better sleepers and generally happier. So I'm ok with it. For now. It's just so cute.

The only problem is she may need braces one day. I did because I had buck teeth and I wouldn't stop until I was in third grade. They had to put a brace in mouth to get me to stop. Not to be negative. Just letting you know what happened to me. I'm sure Marlie will be a thumb sucker too! :)
I was a thumb sucker until the 2nd grade and I never needed braces or had any problems. I eventually just stopped on my own. You never know I guess. I'm sure she'll be fine. As parents you just face what ever comes right? There are a lot worse things. In the mean time...how stinkin cute is she!!
I love the little finger over the nose! I was a finger sucker too, ring and middle though not the thumb, and yes my parents tried everything to get me to stop, hot sauce on my fingers, I just sucked it right off and love spicy food to this day, nasty tasting fingernail polish made to help finger suckers stop, I just removed it and washed my hands and kept on sucking, I mean really!! Anyway, yeah I just stopped when I was ready and haven't felt it was a negative thing in my childhood for any reason and it sure does beat loosing and restocking pacifiers all the time!! She'll never loose her thumb!!
Oh my gosh-she is precious!! Is that the baby? She looks just like Rowan! I need to see you guys more often apparently! btw-Sloane was a thumb sucker at first, but grew out of it! I wouldn't worry until she is trying to talk to you behind a thumb in the mouth :)
