Independence Day
Well, I have to admit that this year's 4th wasn't that eventful for us...mainly because I was so sick I could barely get out of bed. But I feel like I still need to say how grateful I am to live in this country, and to enjoy the things that I have. I think we often take advantage of the simple things we are able to do, just because we live in the good old US of A. So thanks to all those, past and present, who have fought to protect our freedom!

Jules, I am sorry to hear that you are feeling so sick. This too shall pass. Hang in there, it's all worth it! And let this be reason to get a lot of rest. =)
