rowan's 1st easter

i'm re-posting this picture because it might not have shown up on the last post.

we had a great easter this year. justin had the day off, which is most unusual because, being in the restaurant industry, he works most holidays. the weather was perfect. and even though rowan won't remember this first one, we were able to start our own family traditions. i got rowan a basket and filled it with things that she'll use throughout this year--books, toys, and clothes. justin and i got a big basket filled with candy, clothes, and all the Scrubs dvds (we love that show).the family all came over for dinner and an egg hunt. later, when the weather cooled down a little, we started a small fire in nana's fire pit and roasted marshmallows & peeps. it was a fun day.

we hung out outside for a little bit after church since the weather was so beautiful. rowan got a little sun while laying on daddy's chest.
