hogle zoo

we took ansley, ella, and rowan to hogle zoo yesterday. it was a beautiful day, and lots of fun. i think our favorite part was the baby orangutan. i couldn't get a good picture because it was inside, super crowded, and that darn monkey was moving too quick for me.

the girls peering in at a monkey of some sort. they watched the orangutans for a good 15 minutes. everything else was of little interest to them. they would get out of the stroller, look at the animals, and then get back into the stroller and wait to see the next animal. ella was a little more excited to see more of the animals. ansley was happy as long as she got to sit in the back part of the stroller.

we were a little disappointed that we didn't get to see tigers or lions--they weren't in their little areas when we got to that section. here are some of the cool animals we actually did get to see:

the giraffes. we thought it was especially cool to see the baby one.

this little lady slept all day, which made it easy for us to focus on the older girls.

the girls weren't too interested in posing for pictures by the animals. these were the best shots we could get. still, it was a very fun day. we love you ansley & ella!
